And for guests travelling in groups, the Family Suite provides the perfect mix of space and comfort, along with awe-inspiring views of the city and the greenery-covered hills in the distance.
The Family Suite is built to give you a unique experience depending on the time of the day. Once the sun rises, the wide windows in every room bring in light to warm up every inch, giving you the opportunity to take in the beauty outside as you walk around.But once the sun sets, the well-placed lights come on highlighting the sloping, wooden roof that creates a warm and intimate ambience, as well as the art hanging on the walls that add colour to the entire room.
And for when the nights get a little chilly, there is a fireplace in the sitting room that is lit at night. This warmth radiates through to the dining area, creating the perfect atmosphere for a cozy dinner with friends or family after a day out in Kodaikanal.
The Family Suite comes with an entry hallway that gives you an incredible view of the hills beyond, a living and dining room with a fireplace, as well as two bedrooms with comfortable beds and large windows so you can wake up in the morning to the sight of clouds rolling in.
Additionally, there is an activities room with plenty of open floor space where you can spend your afternoon or evenings playing board games. Or you can just sit on the couch and curl up with a good book as the world passes you by.
The Family Suite can accommodate five guests, and a further mattress can be provided at extra cost upon request.
We understand that sometimes, work is the priority, so we’ve intentionally kept Wi-Fi service to our lobby area. As part of the Villa Retreat experience, rooms are maintained as they are, without Wi-Fi to let our guests truly disconnect and soak in the magic of Kodaikanal.
